## Step 1: Install from the Shopify App Store

1. Open the [RankRobin listing on the Shopify App Store](https://apps.shopify.com/rankrobin)
2. Click **Add app** and install

You'll land in the RankRobin dashboard inside your Shopify admin.

## Step 2: Wait for the order backfill

On first install, RankRobin backfills your historical order data into a daily sales table. This runs in the background. You'll see progress in the dashboard. You can create templates and link collections while it runs; sorts that depend on older dates will become accurate once the backfill completes.

## Step 3: Pick a plan

Open **Plans** in the dashboard and activate a plan. You can use the free plan to get started. Plan limits cap the number of linked collections and the cadences you can schedule.

## Step 4: Create a template

Templates are sort rules you can reuse across collections.

1. Open **Templates** in the dashboard
2. Click **New template**
3. Pick a metric, a time window, and a cadence
4. Save

## Step 5: Link collections

1. Open **Collections** in the dashboard
2. Pick a collection and link it to your template
3. Click **Sort now** to run immediately, or wait for the next scheduled run

RankRobin sets the collection's sort order to manual and reorders products based on your rule. Pinned products stay at the top.

## Step 6: (Optional) Seasonal collections

1. Open **Seasonal** in the dashboard
2. Pick a preset (for example, "Last Christmas" or "Last Black Friday") or a custom date range
3. Pick the source (all products or a specific collection) and the top N to include
4. Save

RankRobin creates the target collection and populates it with the top products from that window.
